‘Nothing’

 

Expedia has been a wild ride. From winning the account to creating a massive volume of work in the past couple years, it’s been the biggest crash course in leadership, running global campaigns with thousands of deliverables going out worldwide, and ‘speed creativity’ that I’ve experienced.

It all started with a sexy business copy brief that grew into a Black Friday campaign we shot and released in under a month. At a time where everyone was thinking about the stuff they want to buy, we asked people if that’s what they really want – some more ‘stuff’? Or do they want a new experience?

That then ballooned into a Super Bowl ad, and then a brand campaign that is a weird and wonderful look at the world through different motifs, like ‘Lemons’, ‘Bubbles’, ‘Sand’, ‘Arrows’, ‘Plates’, and ‘Nothing’ - my favourite film, because it speaks directly to my passion for leisure.

I love this work, and am so thankful for clients that wanted to make something different.
